Spanning 25 weeks and with an inclusive cast list from the UK, US, Canada, and Australia, including Torrin Ellis, Joanne Lockwood and Salma El-Wardany*, Season 2 will broadly centre on DE&I and Accessibility in the 360-degree sourcing, hiring and onboarding process.

Alongside this will be a focus on Artificial Intelligence as a force for good and the role technology plays in increasing social mobility, as informed by The Data Analysis Bureau (T-DAB).

Season 2 will touch on whether technology is being used to solve global talent attraction challenges for the communities it’s intended to help or if it’s simply a box-ticking exercise. Get-Optimal’s platform has made a great start with removing all bias at the source. The question remains as to what more can be done by all of us.

The season will explore the culture of hiring post-COVID-19. This is an incredible moment in the history of recruitment to reimagine workspaces and working practices and deliver more equitable, flexible, location-agnostic and diverse working cultures. In short, 2021 is about output, not location.
